Vera Mukhina’s famous sculpture is one of the defining symbols of Soviet monumental art and stands near the entrance to VDNH. Its scale, forward motion and tall pedestal are best appreciated from a distance, while the base also contains museum and exhibition spaces.

It fits naturally into a VDNH and Prospekt Mira route. Around thirty minutes is enough for the exterior, but exhibitions inside can extend the visit considerably.
