This historic monastic ensemble south of central Moscow is enclosed by brick walls and contains church architecture from several centuries. Its old necropolis also makes the site important as both an architectural and memorial complex.

It is a calm attraction away from central crowds; around an hour and a half is a comfortable visit. Combine it with Shabolovka, the Danilovsky area or Neskuchny Garden.
