Vocational institutions use more than one competition model
For Moscow grade-9 graduates in the 2026 city experiment, raw GIA scores in Russian and mathematics are used, plus entrance tests where required. Some institutions and applicant categories use their own rules; Medical College No. 1, for example, explicitly uses a certificate competition. NowMoscow therefore labels the admission basis on every verified programme.

Why NowMoscow does not invent a “2026 passing score”
A verified programme and admission basis do not automatically provide a final competition boundary. Historical certificate averages and current GIA raw scores are different scales, so comparison labels appear only when a final result in the same metric is verified.
