A historic green section of the long park corridor along the Moskva River, directly adjoining Gorky Park. Compared with the more open spaces next door, it has shadier paths, varied terrain, old pavilions and more of a natural woodland atmosphere.

It works best as part of a long walk: start around Gorky Park and continue south along the embankment or through the internal paths. In summer, the shaded sections are particularly useful during the hottest part of the day.
The garden lies between Gorky Park and the Sparrow Hills area. Useful access points are from Leninsky Prospekt and Andreyevskaya Embankment.
